Dragonfly Devours Horsefly II

A big green dragonfly grabbed a horsefly out of the air right in front of me. He landed on my leg to eat it. I carefully walked to get my camera and he stayed on. You can't hear it on the video because of the wind in the mic but I could hear the crunching as he chowed down. Anything that eats horseflies and mosquitoes is a friend of mine. A perfect little flying, killing, eating machine and beautiful too. This was by Thompson, Manitoba. In vid 1 you can see him starting out with the whole horsefly and shoving it into his mandables headfirst.
