This video shows an AgOilPress.com cold screw press extracting oil out of castor bean seeds. At this rate the AgOilPress will make approximately 40 gallons/151 Liters a day. At full speed, the AgOilPress would produce approximately 70 gallons/265 Liters of Castor oil a day.

The amount of oil depends on a few factors, but mostly on what type of seed is being pressed. I do not have specific information on Castor Beans at the moment, but if you would like a spreadsheet showing some other commodities please e-mail a request to sales at agoilpress.

Are there many uses for castor oil extraction besides wanting the ricin and so nut jobs can use it ?

@frechieguy actually its between 5 and 11 whole beans if ingested it rarely kills, however the ricin extract is highly toxic.

omg you have to be careful with ricin (comes from processed castor beans)! It's so poisionous. It only takes the ricin from two or three beans to kill someone!
