Since it's Christmas time, I decided to test my new equipment on a bunch of Christmas songs. This song was intensive to create. There were fifteen separate parts which I had to record separately. Let's just say that my recording of trans-siberian orchestra days will be over. It took a while, and I'm not that good at piano. Anyways, cheers to anybody who likes trans-siberian orchestra as much as I do. Remember, everything is done from scratch, so forgive the mistakes.

  • @mystiquesword yep. i learned the pachebel thing in school today. i just wish this was the orginal because this song is awesome.

  • @timmypish What about your mom....Yeah.....foo shut the hell up.

  • johan pachelbel the original 1 hit wonder

  • @100wekinzfangirl thats because it actually has no lyrics. "christmas canon" is actually something like a cover song in that it uses pachebel as its background, adding lyrics by a children's choir.

your song for the wedding would be "pachebel in canon D" made just under 400 years ago. classical & instrumental, having nothing to do with christmas; though, whoever used it for a christmas song backdrop had really good taste :)

  • @david11893 actually no. the "christmas canon" is NOT the original. "pachebel's canon in D" is. johann pachebel wrote it in the 1680's...meaning the tune is just under 400 years old. like all classical music, it is instrumental. also like all classical music, it is long, over 6 minutes. recently some people took that piece & added lyrics by a childrens choir to it, using pachebel as a background. hence "christmas canon" but its only around 3 or 4 minutes. pachebel is a great one for weddings.

  • it sounds awesome

  • it sux. sounds so fake.

  • @david11893 not really, its actually the other way around.

  • lots of people use it in weddings but its really based on christmas
