USB host mode on the HTC Desire

In this video I boot the HTC Desire with a custom patched Cyanogen kernel which enables USB host mode. I then demonstrate the use of an external USB keyboard with the phone. This is a fully portable and battery operated setup.

@d4m4s74 you could probably even write a bash script to do it as you'll effectively just be mounting a file system then pushing the files on it up to a site with curl or something similar.

@rayui I've written an android app before, but that just used the default android functions in the SDK.

Could this be used to "download" videos from photo cameras and upload them to the internet without needing a computer or transfering SD cards?
