That year is wrong. Bruno regained the title in December of 1973. Stasiak held the title for 10 days after winning it from Pedro Morales. Stan "The Man" was picked to hold on to the belt as a transitional champ as the WWWF (Vince McMahon) wanted Bruno to get the belt back to boost ticket sales. Stan's finest moment.
