For this type of strumming bend from the elbow so the whole forearm moves.

how do you learn to recognize the beat of a song? therefore knowing what strumming pattern to use? especially for songs that have no guitar. thanks. love your channel. :)

Hey Guitarsage, I have a question about pick placement while strumming. When you strum, do you hold the pick at a 45 degree angle parallel to the strings, or is it at a 90 degree angle? Thanks.
