In this video I share with you a recipe that I used back when I was running a tonic bar here in Lousville. This chocolate sold quite well and received excellent reviews. Its been a few years so I was a bit rusty, but everything turned out perfectly.

Recipe:

4 oz cacao butter
.5 oz coconut oil
2 TB raw honey/clear agave - to test
1 squirt vanilla stevia or vanilla powder - to taste
few pinches of salt
2 TB Mucuna Extract - http://hyperionherbs.com
2 TB Ho Shou Wu Extract - http://hyperionherbs.com

Nut Butter Filling

1/4 Cup Hemp Seeds - could use any nut or seed, or just by pass the grinding and use a nutbutter of choice
1 TB raw honey
6 Pinches of salt
2 TB Maca

  • Hey Brandon! I'm having trouble with my honey sinking to the bottom of the mixture... Any suggestions?

  • @daoplan1204 make the honey is well liquified and the mixture is warm enough. thats generally work for me.. perhaps also check to make sure your added enough powders. if none of those things work, go for the clear agave.

  • I loled when you spilled chocolate on your shirt for gewd measure. haha thanks for the recipe.

  • Thanks so much Brandon. My names brandon too!

  • i like to use agave and vegetable glycerine for sweeteners in my soaked oats in the morning. i wonder what would happen if you used arrowroot/kudzu, as a thickener. that could be bad. i was also thinking they might make a vanilla flavored stevia... as, i have scene them flavored, too. ever think of getting like a mini hand beater?

  • @panlucius mmm i'm trying to keep it as natural as possible. Thanks though :)

  • @daoplan1204 lecithin powder! honey will not mix with the oil unless you have some lecithin as the middle man.

  • Fantastic recipe.

  • Looking forward to try it! I find cordyceps to have somewhat of a chocolaty taste, so would def go well with this :)

  • thx 4 sharing. wish i could afford the ingredients,,
