I/C Expo 09 Tube Fitting Workshop

Harry Kimball, of Swagelok San Diego, presented this hands-on Tube Fitting Workshop attendees learned to make proper fitting selections, make gas-tight fitting seals and perform consistent reassembly which in turn will help keep any plant operating efficiently. These simple yet widely misunderstood skills will help ensure accurate measurements of process parameters such as air, steam, fuel, and water; minimize fugitive emissions; and reduce process fluid leakage which will reduce operation costs, reduce maintenance, avoid rework and avoid critical and costly issues from vibration, leakage and thermal shock.
