  • is that Eddie Jobson on violin?

  • @Edshread

Yes, I believe that Eddie played electric violin on this video.

  • I saw Roxy Music in concert during their 1982 tour supporting the release of the Avalon album. I was in the first row and center at the first US venue at CSU Fresno. It was supposed to be an outdoor show, but it rained so the show was moved into a small gymnasium - it was awesome. They toured in the US with Berlin - also put on a great show. I own the concert DVD for that year's tour "The High Road." I highly recommend it to all that want to see the group performing live.

  • Actually this band is very dependent on the chemistry of all of its parts. Certainly Ferry's voice is unique and cool, and suits their songs perfectly, but few bands at any time had as good a horn player, drummer and guitarist as this band had. The blend was perfect.

  • Just saw Bryan in ATL to a half empty house, embarassing. And he brought along Chris Spedding too,his solo guitarist in the 70's.No Andy Mackay though,I was semi pissed,my GF is a country lover and you should have seen her drool over Bryan..too funny.

  • Eddie Jobson on Plexi Violin and Keys, the tremendous bass lines via John Wetton, soon both would be in UK.Eddie did a short detour joining Zappa's Band beforehand. And Bruford not Barford.Bryan not Brian. And as for ahead of their time, since the present time sucks balls in music they were exactly at the right time.Roxy was a '50s band that went to outer space then came back. The sign of any great band is there is no one to compare them to.

  • @Edshread yes it is

  • They were ahead of their time

  • John Wetton on bass.

  • @Edshread hi,yes that is indeed eddie jobson. awesome.

  • LOVE THIS ONE.
