Recounting the history behind the Milan conference, and noting the parallels to what is being touted as a "steering committee" for a future conference on issues relating to Deaf education.

  • I'm surprised not many people are responding to this Vlog. They are going to talk about deaf education in the U.S. , so ASL culturally deaf (and schools they go to that support their language) can be affected

  • @butterflyfirefly77 Yeah.... they're too busy fighting among themselves, I think....

  • @DrDonGCSUS if it was open to the public, I would assume it is just people (parents/teachers/professionals/etc.) weighing pros and cons so they can make a personal decision and to learn and understand about other methods. Now I don't know, I think they seriously want to change deaf education system.

  • DrDonG, I agree. I am seriously concerned. The parallels are there, the backdoor power grabs, the "set-up" for sideswiping Deaf community. It is a responsibility to speak up, question, point out what is happening. And when we can, support By Deaf For Deaf, nothing About US without US. Do you know any Deaf-owned printing companies? There were many before...and now? Give our profits to Deaf owned businesses first! Build back By US For US! Schools, business same!
