Remember seeing them countless times at Larry's Hideaway in Toronto back in the mid 80's.

Cant believe I sang to this as a teen in 80's.
Get the right riff & energy & U can get instant indoctrination. Hitler would of love melodic Punk. Was never quickest hearing lyrics (also deaf in clubs over music).
Totally agree w/ mapache11. Dont try to clean it up, U can only slap on a coat of white wash paint to a degree, already recorded history regardless of their reasons/ stance.
Lyrics are there, match it w/ the events & these people coming in & being sent to different parts of Canada

totaly love this song! bitchen!!

@mapache11 ...sorry. My grammar is fucked in the morning. The dumbasses said the song was about the Mariel Boatlift, among other immigration events. I corrected them by saying that the Boat people of southeast Asia are the ones he suggests, albeit tongue in cheek, get bombed.
Now you can go back to raping your sister.

@maxfedor1 ...look fuckwit, it could be that the theme of the song is making fun of rednecks. I was correcting the dumbasses that said that the 'boats" that the song are those of the Boat People of Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos, not the Mariel Boatlift form Cuba or any of the other event.
Go back to raping your kid sister.

@mapache11 actualy they were making fun of conservative red neck knuckle dragging xenophobic idiots.i guess you dont grasp most mainstream punk bads are about social justice
-
@chichi1742 ..that may be. But it is about the boat people that came from southeast asia.
-
@mapache11 the lead singer said he was making fun of rednecks in this song
-
@mapache11 fair enough. I could never claim to recall a word when I saw them live. time and substances.
-
@bluewools ...the lyrics say "sub-human". but I've seen him sing "Commies, they're yellow subversives"
-

The song is about immigrants in general and the influx of southeast Asians in particular in the 1970s. Maybe they were being sarcastic, maybe they were just trying to be offensive to sell records and don't really believe the lyrics. We'd have to ask them. As was previously mentioned, it is NOT about Cubans. Even if the dates were right (and they aren't), why would a punk band from Canada give a rats ass about Cubans taking American jobs? So half of "uncreativeJACKASS" name is correct.
