ROCCAT Kone Quick Look (Review in description)

As of some hours I posted a quick look on my SideWinder X6 keyboard, I thought it would be cool to do my mouse as well.

This is the fairly new Roccat Kone gaming mouse from the german developers ROCCAT. It has a very good grip, and it is immensely precise.

Features:

-8 programmable mouse buttons
-Lots and lots of light colors and effects to choose from
-You can assign your customized profile to any game, when you launch that game, the profile will launch as well.
-In each profile you can assign mouse sensitivity, macros, lights, and lots more
-USB 2 cord. I hate cordless mice. Because they run out of batteries and they loose contact often.
-Lots of advanced customizable functions

Good things:

-Cord mouse. This is good because if you want a gaming mouse, cordless SUCKS.
-LOTS of customizable stuff: profiles, lights, sensitivity
-+ and - button for switching the DPI (Dots Per Inch=Sensitivity) on the mouse itself
-The profiles gets saved on your mouse, because of the internal memory

Bad things:

-The price might be a little high for some people
-The mouse is fairly large. Look at the end of the video, I have set up a can of cola besides it, so you can see how big it is. But for me this is the perfect shape and size.

Although the Germans might make the worlds best weapons and cars (plus some other stuff) this first version had the scroll-wheel issue.

But that is normal, considering it's expected for first gen/version of stuff to have flaws.

@furbyunicejafisher, the Kone does have alot of nice features, but it is a bit much show really.

My G5 is still working perfectly to this day. Great mouse.

So it's a question of features/awesome looks vs simple and good . Although I can't really say because I haven't tried any of them.
