I use the same recipe for all of my nut milks. Alot of recipes call for more nuts and I think it is unneccesary and a waste. I also prefer dates in my milks, but I was out. If you use dates I have started pouring the milk back into the blender after it's strained and blending them in. Soaked and pitted dates of course.

3/4 cup soaked nuts
4 cups water
1/2 vanilla bean or 1 tsp vanilla
2-3 soaked dates or 1/4 cup agave

  • @taosimplicity Good idea! When I made the video the truth about agave wasn't really out yet. I don't use it anymore. Dates are also a good choice or honey if you like. It's not thick as along as you strain it. If you like it thicker you can add more nuts. I like it it with less nuts though. :)
