I get the point across even though it's a bad visual example and I stumble over my words in places. It's very important that you cut the area of the goal down so either A) the striker will feel pressured and miss the shot entirely. or B) they'll end up shooting the ball right into you so you barely have to move. or C) they'll place their shot really well where you actually have to work hard to save the ball

  • Come out at the striker shilst staying in line with the ball with an imaginary straight line from the ball through your legs to the centre of the goal will keep you in line with the ball and always dive forward because you can cover more of the goal much easier.

  • @andyjm09 exactly =)

  • great vid is that the pitch you play on? it sucks lol

  • @ccsatddy thankfully it's not, it's just close to where i live so it's easy

  • Well the last thing u said, i dont agree.

They very often looks for attackers to pass the ball.. And then its just better to go out 1-2 meters and box the ball, if u take a few steps to the center of the goal u watching the whole goal..

If u was thinking that the guy with the ball was close to u then step out a few meters towards him.

    Just my point of view.

  • @winky4ever well true. if two attackers are coming out, they'll look to pass if it's easier for them. When you're in goal you have to be aware of how many attackers are coming in to the center of the box and if they're guarded or not. The biggest threat is the guy with the ball so you have to play him and if he gets the pass off to the dude in the center then oh well
