Full Script:
HEY THERE I'M RICH DEMURO AND THIS IS FIVE OF A KIND...
THE SHOW WHERE WE TAKE A LOOK AT YOUR OPTIONS IN ANY GIVEN CATEGORY.
TODAY, WE'RE DEALING UP BIG SCREEN SMARTPHONES.

PHONE MAKERS CONTINUE TO PUSH THE ENVELOPE...PACKING BIGGER SCREENS INTO SMALLER SHELLS...
IF IT STILL FITS IN OUR POCKET...IT'S GOOD TO GO.

SOME CALL THEM PHABLETS - NOT ME - BUT CARRY ONE OF THESE AROUND AND YOU'RE SURE TO GET NOTICED.

SAMSUNG STARTED THE TREND...WITH THE GALAXY NOTE.

THE NOTE TWO PACKS A FIVE AND A HALF INCH SUPER AMOLED SCREEN...RUNNING ANDROID AT A COOL 1280 BY 720.

THE BATTERY WILL LAST YOU ALL DAY...
BUT WHAT SETS SAMSUNG APART IS THE SOFTWARE...AND THE S-PEN.

STEVE JOBS FAMOUSLY HATED STYLUSES...
BUT THIS ONE SLIPS RIGHT INTO THE SIDE.

THERE'S ALSO AN 8 MEGAPIXEL CAMERA ON THE BACK...AND ... ALMOST A 2 MEGAPIXEL ON THE FRONT.

COMPARED TO SOME OF THE BIGGER SIZED SCREENS OUT THERE, THE NOTE 2 IS STILL PRETTY COMFORTABLE IN YOUR HAND.

NEXT UP...
THE NOTE'S BIG BROTHER.
THE SAMSUNG GALAXY MEGA.
THIS THING IS GIGANTIC...YET ODDLY PACKS A SLIGHTLY SMALLER BATTERY THAN THE NOTE 2.

MEGA HAS A 6 POINT 3 INCH SCREEN SIZE...THE LARGEST FOR A PHONE IN THE U-S.

IT'S MORE LIKE A SMALL TABLET RATHER THAN A BIG PHONE...SO YOU PROBABLY WON'T NEED TO CARRY AROUND A SEPARATE DEVICE.

THE MEGA DOES NOT HAVE A STYLUS.

JUST A LITTLE SMALLER THAN THE MEGA...
IS THE HUAWEI ASCEND MATE...
A PHONE I FIRST GOT MY HANDS ON AT CES.

THE ASCEND MATE HAS A 6 POINT 1 INCH SCREEN...
BUT THE BATTERY IS WHERE IT REALLY PACKS A PUNCH.
IT'S OVER 4000 MILLIAMPS!
HUAWEI SAYS THAT'S ENOUGH JUICE FOR 2 DAYS WORTH OF USE...

THE DEVICE IS ALSO HAS A FEW SOFTWARE TWEAKS TO MAKE IT EASY TO USE GIVEN IT'S LARGE SCREEN SIZE...LIKE INPUT WINDOWS THAT SNAP TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT OF THE SCREEN FOR EASIER TYPING.

BONUS POINTS... THE MATE'S MAGIC SCREEN...IT LETS YOU USE THE TOUCH SCREEN.. EVEN IF YOU'RE WEARING GLOVES.

NEXT UP...THE LG OPTIMUS G PRO...
CHOCK FULL OF USEFUL LITTLE FEATURES.

THE OPTIMUS G PRO HAS A 5 AND A HALF INCH SCREEN WITH PIXEL DENSITY OF 400!

BY COMPARISON...THE IPHONE'S RETINA DISPLAY IS 326.

SO...THE SCREEN'S GOING TO BE CLEAR.

THERE'S A 13 MEGAPIXEL CAMERA ON THE BACK, PLUS A 2 POINT 1 MEGAPIXEL CAMERA ON THE FRONT.

A DUAL RECORDING FEATURE LETS YOU COMBINE VIDEO FROM BOTH CAMERAS FOR AN INTERESTING PERSPECTIVE ON THINGS.

WHATEVER YOU DO, JUST DON'T LOOK AT THE LG'S YOUTUBE PAGE FOR INSPIRATION...THERE ARE SOME ODD VIDEOS THERE.

BONUS POINTS FOR THE BUILT IN IR BLASTER THAT TURNS THE OPTIMUS G PRO INTO A UNIVERSAL REMOTE.

FINALLY, CHECK OUT THE NOKIA LUMIA 1520...AKA THE BANDIT.
IT RUNS THE WINDOWS PHONE OPERATING SYSTEM AND HAS A SIX INCH SCREEN.

IT HAS THE SAME FORM FACTOR WE'RE USED TO SEEING ON OTHER LUMIA PHONES.

THERE YOU HAVE IT...
FIVE OF A KIND...
BIG SCREEN SMARTPHONES.

THE TREND ISN'T GOING AWAY ANYTIME SOON.

NOW IF JEANS START COMING WITH BIGGER POCKETS...YOU KNOW IT'S GOTTEN OUT OF HAND....

I'M RICH DEMURO...SEE YA NEXT TIME.
