@andy5eight Sorry to hear it. The only pain I have is from the physical therapy I do every day. That keeps the joints sore. Hopefully I won't have to do this much longer.

@andy5eight In an internet search I found a place around Houston but went to Dr. Eaton in Jupiter Florida. My hands were worse than the ones in this video but now I can straighten my fingers, including my thumbs which I couldn't raise before. Some of my fingers were bent 135 degrees. My palms are now smooth, no lumps. Nothing is injected in this procedure. The doc is using the needle to cut the cords. It isn't painless but recovery is quick.

....I have the same question!

very interesting treatment but i wanna know if that "lump" in all Dupuytren's Contracture stay after the treatment, i mean if it desapear after rehab or something ?
-
Is this treatment available in australia and if so where?
-
What did he inject it with to make it go away?
Yes, although "cured" is an overstatement. He definitely reversed though, which is to say took it back in time to where it was not a problem and my hand could lay flat. Note that the doctor says I should come back for a second treatment -- I am doing that in late October. Would expect that to last for 3-5 years. Inexpensive and non-invasive and no trauma. It's cool!

My husband had this procedure done by the same doctor. He is excited to have the use of his hand back, without cutting it open and long rehabilitation.

Wow, that's great! Dr. Klien was pretty cool about letting my wife film his work with our little Kodak digital camera. I only started seriously looking at options in May and found out about NA two weeks before the NY Times article came out. So lucky and so glad. Thanks for watching.
