@VAhlene I don't know about you but I can't stand 99.9% of country music TV either. It's mostly cheesy pop country with dumb lyrics and minimal musicianship. Give me the sweet sounds of old time acoustic country or bluegrass any day over that.

The rhythm is great, but not with the copious amount of words in the lyric. If it were an instrumental it would be stone cold perfect! But it's too fast a rendition because of Gord's many words in the lyric. Great playing though.
