  • Well, in this case it's actually a northern New Brunswick accent (hence the whole "North Shore" thing. The comedian actually speaks perfect English by the way. The accent is just an act. It's part of the character.

  • I'm from Sudbury. Sounds a lot like the franglais we speak there. Love listening to him. Makes me 'omesick.

  • And anyone from home knows how educated Marshall is. And well spoken.

  • Marshall, it's like the paper mill in Dalhousie all over again. You teared me up with memories!! It's like the french and english, "On vais aller drivey dann car"! I miss home.

  • This comedian is actually well educated and speaks both good English and French. This is part of his act. demonstrating the kind of chiac s an above reader has noted, that is utilized primarilt in northern New Brunswick and some parts of Nova Scotia. However, he is from northern NB and is showing that manner of what we sometimes also call "Moncton French" which is half English - half French as in J'ai achete un sweater hier chez le store.

  • I'm from Copper Cliff, and I'd highly agree with you

  • Chiac is french with mixtures of english, where as his act is completely in english...mostly.

So he's just speaking like a french person who's trying to speak english.

  • Actually, he is speaking Chiac... which is a mixture of English and Acadian French. It may seem a little strange, but many Acadians speak it in southern New Brunswick.

  • thats his quebec accent

  • This guy cant speak english..

What is going on french or canadian???
