@ImMsDiana ..the nebulous idea of "better gun laws" (which I'm not sure are possible to draft and enforce in a manner that isn't counterproductive at best) to protect children is wrong-headed and backwards. Knowledgeable parenting is the answer. Knowledgeable parents make better trainers, better trainers make better pupils, better pupils become safe hunters and outdoorsmen/outdoorswomen and go on to be knowledgeable parents who are excellent trainers. What will you teach your children?
@ImMsDiana ...Two years isn't old enough to start learning about firearms, in my opinion, (they haven't really started recording durable memories at that age and any marksmanship or ballistics theory is going to be a total loss) but a 1st grader can definitely learn to be an accurate shooter as well as a cautious, careful, respectful and safe gun handler. Once kids get into the teenage years they are less likely to form "second nature" safety habits, so start their education young...
@ImMsDiana While I would not personally have a child that young operate even a .22 LR pistol, there isn't anything criminal or even unacceptably dangerous about the scenario depicted in the video (with the notable exception of a lack of eye protection). The father is in control of the direction of fire and in control of the boy's hands to keep them out of the pistol's action. Insulating kids from firearms guarantees that they will be incompetent to operate them as adults...
Oh look, a responsible father starting to teach his son at a very young age how to properly shoot a firearm, and will probably continue to teach him well into adulthood.
I'm sure he keeps the gun locked in a safe, unloaded and partially disassembled w/ a trigger lock when its not in use, to properly assure that the firearm will not be misused.
Props Dad, I wish mine did the same for me. I'm 100% positive if all parents treated gun control the same as you, the world would be a lot safer.
Moron! This has to be a form of child abuse!!!! Was that the Mother I heard in the background? You people do not deserve to have a child...shame on you for not puting your childs saftey and well being above your egos...Big bad man gonna let his little boy shoot a gun .....Why not give him a cig and a porno while your at it... This is an example of why we need gun laws to protect the children...These people should not own guns. Mothers are to protect their children. Not put in harms way.
I agree, guns are dangerous and people should not be allowed to have them. I think we should also force men to wear chastity belts in public, in case one of us gets an urge to go a-raping. Think about the children!

What a cute kid. It is good to see that gun safety is still being taught to our children.
