Hey Girlie, I totally use other products with KCCC. I think they may say that so you only use their other (lower quality, let's be real) products as well. In fact, it's pretty amazing, but it doesn't have to be used alone. I put Pantene Smooth conditioner on as a leave in, THEN the KCCC. Works great. After, to soften some of the crunchiness when it's dried, I rub in some Wen styling cream. Give it a try. You may get more length by using the Pantene first to weigh the hair down.
