maybe those people who have the sounds legal rights etc. may not be bitchy. But some other sounds legal rights owner are. so if those who are bitchy werent this bitchy youtube wouldnt have to mute the video.
the moral of the story is: when an artistic product is made. it belongs to all humanity. you may as well try to profit from it but you shouldnt be able to stop people from reaching to it.

Because everybody knows both George Lucas and the Bee Gees were outraged by this video and all the economical loses they were having because of the massive "copyright infringement" it contains... Well done WMG/YouTube for removing the audio! I mean, listening (for free? FUCK THAT!) to 60 seconds of a 30-year-old Bee Gee's song in a satirical context was seriously going to harm the sales of disco music.
The number of people who will now have to go and buy the track must number in the several million, surely?

Wow, thanks Youtube, this is EXACTLY what us users want from you. Look at all the other comments, the others were obviously outright offended by the copyright infringement here. They were FURIOUS as to how this used clips from another movie and part of another song. They clearly have all been collectivly demanding that you do this. Not like they'll eventually decide to move to another site...
Obvisouly there was nothing satirical in this to protect it either, so you totally did the right thing.
