  • Lightformula, many thanks for your kind comments. I confess that you have the better of me in your understanding of music. I'm somewhat limited in the finer points of reading music (being self taught - that's my excuse anyway !). I like Aguado's music and glad my contribution has been helpful. Best wishes from a freezing cold Lancashire !. Graham.

  • @grumblemuck:

Wow, that's great! Self taught, it's unbelievable :)

The cool thing is that we were checking a word in my phone dictionary yesterday (I owe Oxford a lot for the good time!), then in the description or origin of the word there was "Lancashire". We were dubious whether the 2nd "a" is pronounced or not!

That friend of mine should be surprised to hear that I made friends with a British fellow guitarist, cause he likes that type of weather. Is it fuggy & mysterious also!?

  • @lightformula - thanks for corresponding again. The county in which I live is Lancashire. I live close to the sea near Blackpool. I am somewhat restricted by my medical condition (see my profile) but somehow still manage to play the guitar. As regards our weather, I recently saw a bright yellow object up in the sky and was advised that actually - it is the sun ! Best wishes. Graham.

  • Many thanks - appreciated. I've checked out your channel - I like your sort of music - I was a big fan of Chet Atkins - still have a vinyl LP of him. Keep up the good playing. Best wishes.

  • Many thanks for your kind comment - much appreciated. Graham.

  • Appreciated. Next time I put a video on Youtube - I have made a promise to smile more !.

  • Thanks for sharing this beautiful piece with us, that's awesome.

I guess there are differences between the sheet I have and what you play. A bit of difference on durations (mostly silences are omitted) and also the final time introductory melody in E major joins the bars with legato notes, here G# and next bar are supposed to be played on 3rd string and so on. Also I'm aware of the changes some publishers make to a piece as interpretations.

Thanks anyway; I really needed a visual guide on this.

  • really good playing and beautiful sounds...if you want come to give a look to my channel :)

  • good job! on all of them, lots of time went into this clearly!

  • Very nice, the pure sound of the classical guitar, without tricks, effects. Good!

    Best wishes, Frank
