@BatmanbinSuperman12 Silat goes back to thousands of years. Way back even before Islam was invented. I practice silat with no roots whatsoever to Islam only to the people of Indonesia. To Indonesia before Islam arrive to the island. I am sorry but I prefer things to be clear. If Islam created silat then why is not known or even practice in the countries were Islam is practiced or where Islam was invented? I know Silat and I know my teacher and his teachers were not muslim.

silat was known as a muslim martial art simply because majority of it's native practitioners were muslim from southseat asia (malaysia,indonesia.brunei and singapore).It is an exclusive fighting art developed by the malay. But now we have those from bali who we know were not muslim at all, they are hindus, and we have those westeners who practise silat their.country. This is what silat is all about. It trains people to be fast and strong enough to hold on to a street fight.

it true name is sendeng.sendeng mean fast move.we have tumbuk sendeng and sepak sendeng in every silat.i'm from silat kuntau selendang merah.silat sendeng is one of the most powerfull striker in silat world..

@itssohardtomakeaname continued, after all for me Silat and wing chun are the most deadly and most practical of ALL martial arts xD . They have some similarities too, its too awesome to see how MA evolved form each otehr XD !! haha

Thank`s for - " Silat Fast Hands ." Silat is indeed , very fast , & advanced martial arts ! I`m honored you felt inspired to post it in response to my video ,since as I stated in comment , mine was a vid. demo-ing hidden power & apps. inside our sticking -Chi Sao; & , I pointed out that it was not very Fast by Our Foshan WC standards . Beyond that ,I`m confused . R U Teaching Silat , or Preaching Islam ? Since Silat did not exist in Arabia before,I doubt it`s in the Holy Koran.Salaam Ali Kum !

@sjander29Islam is a way of life my way of life as Muslims we are required to be warriors and my art is silat. i mabee should of just made two channels but o well :) im glad you like the videos :)
