The crowds stays with him even as he talks between verses, but the most pivotal part of this performance, is the beat switch in the middle that is a nod to Video Music Box's original and infamous 80's intro theme.
16 extends the love by inviting newcomer Indigo to the stage to break into their mixtape cut, "Video Ho" to keep in the subject of video history.
What you don't get to see in this clip, however, is Malik's verse to that song, as well as Uncle Ralph coming up to give him dap and show Love for being payed homage to.
