Over many years Dr. Wilhelm Reich's work and findings on the orgone energy, or life-energy, have been subjected to careful scientific scrutiny and evaluation, being verified and confirmed in their major aspects, even while his malicious critics continue to ignore or distort this record of accomplishment and discovery. This video gives a short introduction, and provides reference books and websites by which the interested viewer can obtain facts and accurate information. Comments are active, but sorry I won't approve of typical skeptic-comments, or other words which are questionably unclear, off-target, or distort or make ridicule of Reich. There's plenty of that already on internet, and those websites never allow honest facts about Reich and orgonomy to emerge.

I've read various things about orgone, mostly in relation to the orgonite generators that people build.....still not sure what to make of them. Thanks for posting these videos; sounds like Reich is just one more genius of that time period who was persecuted by our owners and had his work destroyed by them--or so they thought/hoped.

@RedTulie1 A lot of people learn about Reich firstly from the ideas of "orgonite" and "orgone generators", but those are things invented by internet hawkers which have very little or nothing to connect with Reich's original scientific work. At best they are but thin shadows of his original findings, and 99% of what's on internet is either only half-true or fully distorted misrepresentations of Reich. See the wilhelmreichtrust or orgonelab or naturalenergyworks websites for clarity.

1. correction: that is Reich & his colleagues were victims of a 'right-wing' smear campaign not a left-wing one as stated in the vid.

Eisenhower & Nixon were in power & 'reds under the bed' propoganda was rife; Wilhelm Reich was a socialist as well as a brilliant doctor so he was perceived as a threat in a number of ways. Primarily he was about to change the way we perceived & cured disease, now we r controlled by those issues.Plus he was one step ahead of HAARP!

@WishCRUS4D3R Much depends upon how one defines "socialism". Standard Marxist theory considers socialism as a step along the path to communism, preparing the ground. Where Marxists haven't got the guns to impose Big Brother on people all at once, they may grow the Big Brother state through socialism. But if you mean socialism as merely decent and cooperative social relations, voluntary collective working, then yes. Free market capitalism has already provided that, imperfectly.

I have never heard of Dr. Reich, or this very interesting science. I am very curious and I respect and appreciate the opportunity to read, study and learn -via- all the clearly posted devices and procedures availing themselves as proof to be tested. I am sorry these men of science were cast into prison and had to suffer death so vainly. This causes me to need to know more. Godspeed: Rev. Karl, (Allentown Pa. USA).
