Who would even think of using anything but UbuntU on an Eee-Pc ! At last something that works & is FREE.

Netbook with aero? I haven't seen many, because of 7 starter. When i get my Samsung Netbook, im going ot upgrade to windows 7 home premium or "upgrade" to Windows XP (for faster performance)

Vista runs slower than XP even on fast hardware, so why would anyone in their right mind actually want Vista on an obviously slower computer? Current versions of XP are relatively free of major issues and use less resources on these limited netbooks. None of the newer operating systems (Vista, Win7, etc) truly offer more, so it will be sad to see XP go just when it is finally getting really good.

That really is a big mistake loading Vista on that thing if it already had XP loaded on it. All of my favourite programs crash on windows Vista, I would choose XP over Vista any day.

I love my 1000H. It's definitely one of the best buys I have made for a long time, SO worth it.
I just need to get 7 running on this bad boy now.
