Much as I think this might be a bad idea, I can't help but think that a locking mechanism for the rear wheel would be good for single-riding.

Originally this was intended as a marriage counselling device where both people have to scontribute and communicate effectively in order to have the bike move. Clever eh?

In the way of cycling, if I am the second pedaler. I would also want to see where I am going, not where we've been. The idea of both individuals contributing to the pedaling is a great idea. Especially if they can pedal at their own pace. So that they're not having to keep up with the other individual if they're pedaling faster or slower than they are at that perticular time.

But, I do have to say that it is again a unique idea.
