@MrIknowNothing The audio of this video recording is extremely poor....you cannot expect to judge them based on this terrible recording! These musicians are phenomenal. FYI, they're also putting on a free clinic (dumbed down) for the general public - it is educational in purpose. I say this as someone who has benefitted from their instruction many moons ago, as someone who has seen each one of them bring down the house!

This is an excellent video that demonstrates the morning jazz clinic at Webster University that continues to be a part of the Old Webster Jazz & Blues Fest (9-19-09). Great to see so many folks take an interest in melody and their world-class jazz faculty! A special thanks to Steve Engelmeyer for documenting this (and helping to educate others in the process)!!!
