Never fly a plane that calls you a retard.

@shiftysbrother I get that this is what IFR is for but I still puckered a little until I saw the runway.

@kaizomi Best comment ever :DDDDD

Been there , done that. Quite challenging sometimes , but this landing here seems to be easy going if you are well trained. I agree with the others , auotland is not needed here!

this is not CAT III

@flightTime123 "Faggot, show a little respect" Gee, hope you don't want to be a pilot kid, you'll get no where with that attitude. flightTime wasn't being disrespectful, he was just stating the truth - airline pilots often land in conditions like this.
I doubt anyone could land in these conditions under VFR without breaking VFR cloud and visibility rules. I wouldn't be prepared to risk my life (and my CPL) to find out

@shiftysbrother there aren't fake and real cat 3 conditions. zero/zero is a Cat 3C, this was more or less a CAT3B
ExTreme? Nah. This is typical stuff for these guys, especially in London. Minimums at 100' + lights and runway in sight at 100' = CAT II. No need for autoland on this one. Show me a real CATIII landing in zero/zero and I'll call it extreme. Nice video though.

@sonicgearHD Cat III means that tower control will sacrifice 3 cats if the pilot doesn't properly land the plane on the first go. THREE cat lives are at stake, so the pilots are compelled to make it... for the cats.
