I really love the garage/punk/rock sound from the 60s. It´s raw, it´s rough and it´s honest. No samples and overdubs. My hobby is to rediscover all those great bands from the 60s that didn´t "broke through". Listen for example to THE ZETTLERS from somewhere in Scandinavia. Check up their versions of "Skinnie Minnie" and "Beautiful Delilah". Really f.....g good and with a bloody driving beat.

Slaves guitarist Karl "Charly" Ratzer is now a well-regarded jazz-fusion guitarist. There are a few videos of his contemporary stuff on YouTube.

The Guitarist was incredible.....He could play like Hendrix. He could not read or write and would not stay in hotels......he only slept outside. A true gypsy. I've heard he was like 16 yrs. old when this was recorded. I wonder where he is now.
