DELOAD workout, decided to go heavy on powercleans and get an idea where I was at.

Jumped straight to 155lb without a warmup and pwned it!
Hip extension was better, arm bend is still there though. Catch on 185lb high hang powercleans were ugly and unstable, and lower than I'd like, but it counts for a 10lb PR. Grip sucks.

Someone had put oil on the bar sleeve when the plates touch, that helped, spins better, even though the bars are cheap, crappy and all bent. I will have to bring some WD40 and oil in my gym bag from now on :)

  • can't really jump right now, healing up from a left knee medial meniscus tear

  • medial meniscus tear? Was that what I'm feeling? It's not pain but sort of like a tingling feeling right between my knee when I hyper extend it/ traighten

  • depends on how bar the tear is, if it's pretty serious then it hurt quite a lot when you bend the knee and put weight on it. And the knee either locks up or clicks/pops

    Your's is probably a minor tear. I would rest it for a good few weeks, otherwise it will get worse over time

    then 185x2 on high hang powerclean - my PR at that time

  • That's some damn impressive hip drive there man. I think the early arm bend might actually be because of your traps being weak relative to your lower body. Your not actually using any trap pull at all by the looks of it.
