    Hint: use '@foo' to launch a virtual device named 'foo'.

    1) Restart Eclipse

    2) Go to Windows -> Preferences -> Android -> SDK Location

    3) At the box copy and paste the following line depending on your OS.

    Windows 32bit: C:\PROGRA~1\

    Windows 64bit: C:\PROGRA~2\

    Example: C:\Program Files(x86)\Android\android-sdk would turn into C:\PROGRA~2\Android\android-sd­­­k

  • when I click on Run as...Android Appliation I get this error after like 5 minutes:

    Installing Project1.apk...

    Failed to install Project1.apk on device 'emulator-5554!

    Project1] (null)

    Project1] Launch cancelled!

    what is the fix for this?????

  • I had visual studio instaled before java and eclipse.Now when I run emulator i get Visual Studio Just-in-Time debugger error and emulator crashes! Visual studio is uninstaled but i still get the same error! help plz

  • This is how I fixed my problem...

    1) Open Eclipse and click on Run Configurations (pull down the arrow next to the Run or Debug button).

    2) Select "Android Application" and click "New"

    3) Select the "Target" tab and select "Automatic" (Click once more even it is selected and the list box below is disabled"

    4) Click on the "Manager..." button

    5) In all the "Android 4.0.X" sections, select "ARM EABI v7a System Image" checkbox

    6) Click the "Install X Package..." button

    Then I created a new AVD
