I moved to Hawaii when I ws 12. This ws the very first local song I ever heard. They played it on the airplane as we taxied to the gate in Honolulu. I went through the ringer as a little Haole kid and finally found my place in the islands and ws accepted. I have since left to pursue a career and to defend my country, but this song always brings me back and makes me remember Lucky We Live Hawaii.
