Actually you are partially correct, More air+More Fuel+More spark=More power. And it doesn't give you more compression fire needs air(oxygen) to combust so therefore it makes it easier for the engine to combust the fuel since it has more air. Not saying your stupid you just missed a couple things. But you got it mostly right.

the 07 and higher z's have dual intakes as well, not only nismo so don't flatter yourself :P

@Bizantium You are a unintelligent infant. The car adjusts for more air by adding more fuel, this is done by the MAS or the Mass Airflow Sensor. In turn more air plus more fuel gives you more compression and ultimately more power. Do yourself a favor and research before you make a claim.

@Jizbell it was a rhetorical response. the irony in seeing that too much air is not good for the engine. Forced Induction is actually extremely healthy for the car. It's hard however to notice sarcasm in texts.
