I don't think it's a contradiction to like something such as a band and then dislike, let's say, invading another country for no reason. We forced our culture on them to a large degree as well.

Who said hate anyway? I do dislike what WE do from time to time but I don't hate the place. I do think that more Americans should hate the place more instead of being so complacent or they should just eat snoopy snow cones and continue to talk shit that they pray other people will eat so the cotton candy bubble doesn't explode.
