Only thing I can't figure out is why not expert? Your way better at drums than I am and I can still at least beat this song on expert.

Oh also are you using the new Rock band 2 instruments or the rock band one instruments?? It sucks in the UK they havent brought out the rock band 2 ones... and I purchased the game the other day and i am really worried after all the stories about the high failure rate and such im wondering if I should have bought GHWT instead.
