@tselegala obviously you shouldnt be trying to do your 1rm everytime you workout, but if you can rep 300 , you better rep 300

The guy that walked out at 1.08 went off to go and do some bicep curls.

@GODLIKE20000 thats because he was a competitive powerlifter for 10 years, if you don't do it properly at those weight you damage yourself :)

this guy is a great coach. i love how he points out the different reference points for people with different bodies. most of the wannabe professional coaches on youtube make it sound like there is only 1 proper position for a deadlift.

the guy who coughs at :29 sounds like he's saying "free willy"

i'm long in the legs and shorter in the torso. i just put the bar on top of a few 45 plates to bring it up a bit.
-
i have a lot of respect for this guy, really knows what he's talking about and helps sort out simple and majorly effective routines for people with real lives, not the usual bodybuilding crap

rippetoe is the man
"Not strong" people attend these seminars to learn how to do the lift safely and effectively. When people with little to no experience in the gym try to "figure shit out" on their own and end up hurt, they never do the lift again.

the deadlift is pretty taxing exercise. Don't do it too often too heavy. I did 550 one day and 5 days later i could not even pull 500. You need to cycle man.
