In this video I show how, incredibly, all 3 of the morning anchors on the December 10, 2008, broadcast of "Fox & Friends" tried to justify Oklahoma police officers' use of a TASER on a man suffering from severe diabetic shock.

In my video, I also reference a news story from a CBS affiliate about this incident that you can find at http://www.digtriad.com/news/features/article.aspx?storyid=115481&catid=216

Finally, for DOZENS AND DOZENS of more examples of Fox News bias, see my Fox News bias playlist on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=A3BD2524FE99BD4D

  • The entirety of it is stupid, some how it would be ok to do this if he was drunk?

Diabetic or not, whoever just sits in their car or go about doing non threatening things should not be dragged onto the road cuffed and tasered

  • Fox News does only what Big Brother tells them to do.

Diabetes virus in their bodies? Eh,your lack of knowledge is disturbing, since you have so firm beliefs on what should've been done.Diabetes is NOT a virus, even if it in the future would be seen as a virus it's completely idiotic to regard it as a virus at the moment. Yeahyeah he should have done this and he should have done that, but thats not the point, the point is that the police aren't behaving in a humane way. Some people doesnt know when theyre gonna have a "diabetes attack."

  • This is quite amazing

I know that at least in the UK, people with type I diabetics or other patients with illnesses that can cause loss of consciousness (like people that have a history of anaphylactic shocks for example) do wear a medallion or bracelet, which contains a summary of their personal information, description of the disease and a number you might call. The "problem" is that these items are quite small.

  • I saw a longer version of the video elsewhere. The man was wearing a diabetes alert necklace.

  • LMAO....."Police should be schooled".... these fat ass clowns were never schooled thats why they became cops. They didn't get an education and being a cop was the only choice. After they fail the test to become port-o-let cleaners and get tired of sucking cock at truck stops for beer money they join "the force".

  • welcome to Nazi America

  • @majakovskij61 He should have been eating some cookies or cupcakes or something while he was driving so he wouldnt get a diabetes attack. The police should have also checked his glucos level before they pulled him out of the car.All police should learn to check peoples glucose level before they arrest they so they can make certain they do not have some diabetes virus in their bodies. in the video the police probally just revoked his license arrested him for not having a license.

  • @gamerunknown

I know it's different from person to person, but generally speaking hypoglycemia is sudden and can be hard to predict.

Common symptoms of hyperglycemia are SEVERE pain in stomach and constant vomiting. It's kinda unpractical to drive a car with those symptoms.

So you want to blame the victim of this situation. What you don't seem to understand is that even though you check your blood sugar regularly, accidents happen. And also, maybe it's different in the US, but where I live, it's not criminal to have a bad control of your diabetes (you can however lose your driving license).

It is perfectly possible to walk even though you have low blood sugar, I've done it. But it depends on how low and it's also different from person to person.

  • @majakovskij61 Yes I know how to take control over diabetes: check your blood sugar level regularly. He should bring his monitoring log book to court with him to prove hes followed medical advice of his doctor. If it is lacking information, he will be questioned about that during the trial.Im curious to see what is in the log for that day. Also,do you think many people can walk when they are in "severe diabetic shock" like how this guy did? Why dont we see the beginning of the tape?Hmmm. You decide.
