It kind of sounded like Ticket to Ride in the beginning.

or how about the 1 tom 1floor tom, bass drum, snare, 2 crashes, 1 ride, and hats. haha now that is all anyone should need life when playing with a band. if someones playing solo then ok yeah its all good to have a monster of a kit, but it goes to show that they have more drums than friends (haha jokes)

This is the drumset of the future. There are so many more possibilities for the drumset. Guys like Neil here, Grant Collins, Terry Bozzio are on the cutting edge of music for the drumset. We can put all kinds of layers, melodies, counter-melodies on just one drumset with just one player! It's very exciting.

im not convinced

im a drummer and i find that drum set looks ridiculous...what happened to the normal2 tom 1 floor tom,the bass drum,a couple of cymbols and your snare and high hat? or a cozy powell set.
thats all you really need, and this is just ridiculous.

this ROCKS!!!

To each his own man. Every drummer is unique in their own way. Some like to add more colors to a set. We are all percussionists, percussion is more than just drums.
