Beautiful song, one of my favorites from Aimee. It doesn't matter if she wrote it or not. If a songwriter gives you a song to call your own, it's yours. Rumor has it that John Lennon wrote "Blinded by the Light" which has Bruce Springsteen's name on it and was made famous by Manfred Mann. Neither Springsteen nor Manfred Mann can write like the lyrics in "Blinded by the Light." Compare much of Lennon's works of poetry to the song, and see the similarities. It's Aimee's.
