And from what you said, I was right. They were wanting to know his religious beliefs because the US has one of the largest Evolution/creation controversy in the entire world.

Because evolution is the point of contention, gravity, relativity, and mathematics aren't held in the same contempt. The main point is that one who accepts evolution is better equipped to legislate on things like education which is at the heart of the discussion over creationism vs evolution. I certainly don't want creation taught in public schools and many others feel the same. It's not really about religious beliefs but the acceptance of science as a whole, and not cherry picking it.

It's a dishonest question and all they were doing is disguising the demand to discover their specific Religious beliefs.

My guess would be to see if this particular candidate actually knew anything about science. If you know next to nothing about science then you can't make informed decisions about legislation of a scientific nature. The fact that someone doesn't accept evolution is an indicator of either ignorance of science or a blatant disregard for facts and evidence.

jdf088 - I did watch a video I can't remember his name but during a president election he was asked if he believes in Evolution.
Virtually all the comments were people mentioning him not accepting Evolution instead of the intentions of the question itself.
Why would they ask it?

It takes a bit of focus, but I did manage to read the text. Enjoyed the guitar work. (Just beautiful). Also enjoyed the lovely lady's, and cute comedy in the backdrop. Got to ask you; I have never added any music to my vids because I figure I need to pay someone for permission and can't afford it. Did you get permission? Or is there some other approach I'm not aware of?

The music I am using now is from artists that are mostly unsigned and the only requirement is that you credit the artist. I put links to their pages in the description box.

The pictures in the background make the white text hard to read comfortably. In fact, it got so irritated that I was more interested in the demotivaters then the topic of the video.

I've noticed that now that you mention it, I'll tackle that issue in my next video. I may even rework this one and a couple of others as well. thanks for the input. :)
