  • Canadiens were fortunate to win.

Simmons wandered out of his crease and gave up a bad goal in the first game that the Habs won, 2-1.

Richard scored in overtime in game five - a game that could have gone either way.

In game six, the Canadiens scored on a centering pass thirty feet out that was deflected into the Bruins' net by a Bruins' defenseman trying to clear the puck.

Later, Beliveau, never noted for his slap shot, scored on Simmons from 45 feet. A bad goal.

    A empty netter sealed it.
