CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- The University of Cincinnati ramps up its off campus patrols after several violent robberies. UC President Santa Ono sent a letter home to students. In it, he says officers will now be on watch all seven days a week, not just four. And he increased the number of off-duty officers from 8 to 13. It comes after two robberies this week. In one, police say two men robbed a UC student and shot her friend along Warner Street in Clifton Heights. Police are still looking for the two men. If you recognize them call Crime Stoppers at 352-3040.
