This was a good movie but Tombstone was better. And Val Kilmer's performance of Doc Holliday was far superior.

quaid looked just like holliday, he even lost 38 pounds to play the part. put on a true georgia accent. val kilmer was pathetic "im your huckelberry" i'm from the south and if anyone said that, you'd whip their butt for being queer. wyatt was much more accurate historically. tombstone just had better known actors. my favorite part in earp, "all of you can kill my rebel dick!" i really wanna say that to all of this rude yankees in iowa.

WE IS far better where everything is concerned---actors, sets, costumes, music, story, everything. Tombstone is laughable.

Morgan Earp was ~4 months older than 'Doc' Morg was born Aprl 1851 and 'Doc' was born Aug 1851---I can relate to Morg in a way, was a Res Deputy and was born 100 yrs later and same month as Morg.

I d k , Dennis quaid doesn;t even look like dennis quaid... showing how well he prepared for this role. I believe that both interpretations are equally amazing.
