Chef Tony puts the Primo Oval XL Kamado cooker to the test, with whole chickens, pork tenderloins, steak, and pizza to see how it will perform. He then shows you all of the important details on video to let you decide for yourself what you think of the Primo kamado. Hope you enjoy!

  • Does the outside of the grill get hot? At 6:48 you put your hand right on it, is it cool to the touch?

  • @bigtedrx

The ceramic Kamado style cookers do remain cool/warm to the touch, keeping heat and moisture inside of the unit. If you have the chance to cook on one, I highly recommend it.

The Primo is a very nice investment, definitely something worth saving for.

  • he did overcook the chicken. But i cook on primo, pellet, gas, an propaine bbqs evry week. an primo is hands down the best way to bbq. stop hating esteban

  • man im not impressed in the least by its performance. i mean come on that meat was almost raw and the chiken was burned, i think that primo thing is overpriced for what i saw, i could definately do better on my oven.

  • I would like to know about the timing with the steaks and how long "a couple minutes" is when searing the steaks.

    Thanks.
