This appears to be an EK Holden Standard Sedan. Body plate should read EK 215. This is a rare car today, most were worked to death as taxi's and fleet cars. The Standard cost about 80 Pounds less than a Special Sedan and was only available with a manual transmission. It had much less stainless and chrome trim than the Special Sedan.

theres a ek standard sedan in the bush about an hour an half north of perth. not much left of it though. i managed to score the rare painted instead of chrome tail lights of it though

sherilyn1977 - Yes, the 215 Standard are one of the rarest FB's and EK's to find, they are also fetching more money than specials in the market. the rareness is due to what you were saying. Police, electricity, fire, PMG, all sorts of government and corporation used the standards, including Taxis!
Hope someone can save that one!
