  • @TweedleDumm1 I don't quite understand how the things you say are connected either with Russians or with the music.

  • @lolmanlolify The symphony has a name "Bogatyr symphony". Bogatyrs were epic Russian heroes, huge mighty men, embodying the whole strength of Russian nation. And the 1st movement is called "Assembly of Bogatyrs". They weren't the ones to move fast. That's why this tempo is appropriate.
