Choreographer Ira Weisburd demonstrates and teaches his dance "GYPSY ROMA SUZAMA" - Gypsy Tears to the Roma Gypsy Song: Doci Cu Naoruzam Suzama by Sarre e Roma. It was first introduced at Sasha's 20th Annual Israeli/International Folkdance Weekend on June 12-14, 2009 at CIRCLE LODGE in Hopewell, New York.

Yes, I did teach this wonderful dance not only in Dayton but also in our camp last weekend. It got a lot of complements and some great reviews. People will take it with them and spread them all over. Have a healthy and happy New Year!

I have just returned from Dayton OH where I attended Dany Benshalom and Ruthy Slann's Israeli Dance workshop...called Karmiel 2009...

Anyway, wanted u to know that Ruthy taught your dance Gypsy Roma...and the music is on the Karmiel 2009 cd...so I am hoping that some of the dancers will teach this dance to their groups...

Ruthy LOVES the dance...and speaks very highly of you...I concur totally!!!
