The quilting is done as it grows from the center. When the quilt is the size you want, just add the binding using Kaye's Perfect Mitered corners - and you're done. Finishing techniques include serged edges with Pearl Cotton and bindings. A great pattern for charity projects, baby quilts, lap quilts, or any "quilt as you go" technique. Instructions included for serger or sewing machine. This is the pattern that Kaye uses for her LoveQuilt Connection©.

Thank you for that great idea. With four babies expected in the family before the end of the year, this method is for me :)

Your choice of fabrics for this "charity" quilt was exceptional. Does anyone know the manufacturer, designer or name of the beautiful fabric of multi-colored turtles on the green background? Kaye, you did a wonderful job of explaining each
step in detail

This is such a good idea for making a lot of quilts in a short time. No, its not a traditional quilt but does everything have to be traditional? I kind of like blending the old traditions with the new methods. It gives things a new flavor.
