This is my review of the JVC Everio GZ-HM300 camcorder. I got this for $199 on Amazon.com with shipping! Great camera for the money.

Video was recorded on a Canon Vixia HF S20

  • please answer! does this take regular sd cards or mini sd cards?

  • @MsCraftyCritter Regular SD cards that are Class 4 or faster.

  • ive had this camera for 1 year... but i still dont know if it has a mic jack input... could i put something like a rode videomic or anything with those standard mic inputs?

  • @dylz777 No it does not. That is why I buy mainly Canon camcorders. They all have mic jacks.

  • Any new gameplay videos coming up? :)

  • @Fuzzygamesproduction I am editing one now.

  • @IamTeHe Also is it possible to record while its charging? Planning to use for time lapse...like a month or so

  • How do i reveal the threads on this camera..i know it has some but how.

  • @crazyNCman How would you edit on this camera? Is it good for shooting videos that are *Pause* *Play* *Pause* *Play* Like they do in movies? Lol i am not really A technical person :P Please Answer!!

  • what other video resolutions does it have and can it shoot 60fps. i skateboard so i need fast frame speed PLEASE REPLY

  • You did not mention the 1080I video, and how they mislead you by saying 1080p output, other than that, great review

  • You mention a motion detector on the front of this camera. I have this model but the manual doesn't mention it. Are you saying, then, that if I leave the camera on, and it "goes to sleep" that any motion will trigger it to start recording?

  • Whats the highest frame rate?

  • it's a good camera to do slow motion??

  • what editing system do u do
