You did not mention the 1080I video, and how they mislead you by saying 1080p output, other than that, great review

You mention a motion detector on the front of this camera. I have this model but the manual doesn't mention it. Are you saying, then, that if I leave the camera on, and it "goes to sleep" that any motion will trigger it to start recording?

ive had this camera for 1 year... but i still dont know if it has a mic jack input... could i put something like a rode videomic or anything with those standard mic inputs?

@dylz777 No it does not. That is why I buy mainly Canon camcorders. They all have mic jacks.
